These are simple translation-related tools that I’ve created using web technologies (HTML, PHP, Javascript), software frameworks (Microsoft .Net), or spreadsheet software (MS Office Excel, LibreOffice Calc).

Computer-Assisted Translation Tools

Computer-Assisted Translation Tools, or CAT Tools, are specialized computer programs that, as the name implies, aid the translator during translation activities.

OmegaT	OmegaT is a free translation memory application written in Java. It is a tool intended for professional translators.
Anaphraseus	Anaphraseus is a CAT (Computer-Aided Translation) tool.
Pootle	Pootle is an online tool that makes the process of translating so much simpler.

Translation Memory / Terminology Database Tools

A Translation Memory (TM) is a key component of a CAT Tool, and its core role is to retain all translations that are being created at any given time during the translation process.

A Terminology Database (TB or TermBase) is quite similar to a TM; the main difference is that TermBases accumulate only specific, predefined keywords/phrases labeled as terms (short for terminology).
